Dr. William H. Castine
Dr. Castine received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in
Educational Research. Dr. Castine was on the faculty at the Florida A
& M University for 30 years where he taught courses in educational
research methods, testing and measurement, and held several administrative
positions including department chair and assistant dean in the College
of Education. He is a former classroom teacher and has been very active
in professional organizations. Dr. Castine has been the director or participated
in numerous projects in areas of research, evaluation, and testing including
the revision and creation of test items for Florida's Statewide Student
Assessment Test, Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE), and
College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) for the Florida Department
of Education. He has also conducted research in the use of technology
in the classrooms and has extensive experience observing and critiquing
classroom instruction. Dr. Castine will conduct onsite visits and assist
in generating the reports and documents associated with the study.
